FAQ

An automated small parts warehouse is an intelligent storage and picking system that controls processes such as storing, transporting, and retrieving goods automatically and digitally. Unlike classic shelving systems, manual tasks such as searching, long walking routes to storage locations, and manual booking are eliminated entirely. The result is a significant increase in efficiency, reduced error rates, optimized use of space, and complete transparency over the flow of materials.

Cellgo's automated small parts warehouse is designed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises that want to modernize their warehouse processes without high entry barriers or the complexity of large-scale systems.

Our automated storage system consists of a compact racking system, intelligently controlled shuttles, and a range of integrated software functions. The shuttles transport small parts to the workstation quickly and without errors.

Our automated storage solution adapts flexibly, whether to seasonal fluctuations, production shifts, or layout changes. The software keeps track of pending orders and responds to changing processes, making it ideal for growing companies. Depending on your requirements, any number of shuttles and workstations can be integrated.

An automated warehouse system makes sense as soon as high inventory effort, high throughput, or limited space start causing bottlenecks and errors in your warehouse.

With Cellgo, warehouse automation pays off even with just a few storage locations. Thanks to its modular design, the system can start with just a few hundred containers and be scaled up to 10,000 containers as needed.

Cellgo can be used from a footprint of just 15 m² and a ceiling height of only 2.50 m. This makes the system suitable for smaller warehouse environments or urban locations with limited available space.

Cellgo uses Euro-format containers, each rated for up to 50 kg. The base dimensions are 600 x 400 mm, and container height is variable and adjusted according to the stored goods. With up to 8 compartments per container, you maximize your storage density and make optimal use of available space.

Errors in the picking process are often caused by manual workflows, disorganized storage locations, or a lack of digital support. To permanently lower the error rate, an automated system is the most effective solution.

Light-guided work and the easy-to-understand user interface of the Cellgo warehouse system significantly minimize the error rate in small parts handling. The software guides users clearly through every step, even with changing staff. In addition, the system records all movements in real time, documenting and optimizing workflows.

The exact cost depends on your individual requirements and can be determined in a consultation. The investment for a turnkey automated warehouse typically falls in the six-figure range. Particularly small systems can start below that. Payback periods of as little as 1.5 years are possible for the total investment.
